An open flame!

Ah the joys of being in North Carolina for the summer. You can still have a "camp fire" and not burn up! This summer while at the cabin we didn't actually camp, but we did go out and enjoy hotdogs and smores over a fire. That has to be one of the most relaxing atmospheres to me. We were sitting by the creek, listening to the water run over the rocks, eating yummy food and just watching the flames flicker. Doesn't get much better than that. That's to Uncle Jack and Aunt Lauran for letting us visit and be a part of the fun!

The wild girls of the outdoors. I loved the warm glow from the
fire in this picture, even though the girls look a little,
well...outdoorsy!! :)

Little Bit enjoying the fire. Notice she has a jacket on
in the middle of July! How awesome is that weather!

Miss Priss sitting back and relaxing in front of the fire.

Roasting marshmellows! Yum!

Here's mommy blinding everyone with the flash!
I thought this was HILARIOUS!! Little Bit has the
"deer in the headlights" look!

Can't wait to go back!!!
