NOC white water rafting

Abby and Emily finally got to go on their first white water rafting trip! They, of course, LOVED it!

Amber from herb class brought her husband up for the trip too. Neither of them had ever been rafting either. They all had a great time.

Pop, Doug and Spencer joined us as well.

Their official, professional pictures turned out much better than the ones with Perry and the girls in them.

Everyone else that was supposed to join us bailed at the last minute, so I ended up with EC and BB. We had a blast chasing these guys down the river and can't believe we actually caught up with them. We waved our little hearts out at them from the banks. After the rafting, the littles got to play in the awesome tree rope house at the NOC.  It was a good day.

The Southern Herbalist comes to Andrews

Darryl Patton, Abby's Herb teacher from Alabama, came up to do an herb class weekend at our farm. We had a great turn out with kiddos and adults.

Outhouse

The other project around the farm has been this beauty! All cut with wood from the property and reclaimed metal from here as well. It'll be nice to have an official place to go potty that's not behind a tree!

We are having an herb class/walk here soon and I really didn't want people either coming in my house to use the restroom or not having an option at all. So Perry built this outhouse and dug a 4-foot hole for it to sit over. I can't wait to use it!
