Moving to NC trip 1

Papers are signed here in Alabama and we officially have one week to get out! EEK! This is the first of three of the largest U-Haul trucks you can rent before we started stuffing things in. The first trip we made included two 26 foot U-Hauls, Perry's truck and trailer and my suburban and trailer. We thankfully had Ben and Jason Boissel to drive the U-hauls and help us unload them. We could not have done it without them!!

It's starting to get a little full.

My goodness where did we have all this stuff in the house?

I really can't believe we managed to cram so much stuff in them.

Emily and I are wearing our birthday presents from Pop and Nonna. New Chaco's!!

We've filled up and we're ready to hit the road. Papaw and Emily right behind me and Abby.

I had to include this one. Bahahahaha

Jason finishing out the rear.
Abby and I were in the middle.

And Perry led the way.
Georgia line!
Tennessee line!
Poor Scully in the floor board.

And the North Carolina line! Our new home sweet home.

The new house at 350 Genesis Lane Andrews, NC 28901.
Drinking coffee and tea the next morning on our new front porch.

Poor thing was so tired and apparently riding in the car lulls him to sleep very easily. Keri says this is the norm for him.
She's having a blast at the new place. She's found some new mud to roll around in.

Around the house in July

These two have so much fun with Big sister Emily when it's her day to stay in and play!

EC wearing Mama's halloween princess dress from many moons ago. Big Granny made it for me when I was about 6.

My new freezer!!! So excited about this baby. She's so pretty.

We bought a whole cow and now my freezer is even prettier (and completely full!).

The many faces and moods of Ella Claire! EC wanted her picture taken in front of the pretty flowers. Zinnias are quickly becoming some of my favorites!

Family photos with Ashley

We only have a couple of weeks left here in Alabama so I asked Ashley if she'd be willing to come snap a few pictures of us as a last little memory. Of course she said yes and made room in her busy schedule. I am so very thankful that she did. These are some wonderful pictures of our wonderful home we've spent the last 12 years in and the outfitter we got coming from the ground up. I just love how they turned out. Hopefully we will get them up to visit the new place soon.

Ashley was also able to sneak in some senior portraits for Abby. Oh my gosh, yes senior portraits! She will be a senior this fall and will graduate next spring. It has gone by super fast.

The week before we traveled to Ashley's studio to take some drape pictures in preparation for Abby's senior year as well. They couldn't have turned out any better. Love these!!
