Grow little garden, grow

Abby's pumpkin patch is starting to come up!

I always love to see the corn grow.

Baby tomatoes!!!

I can't wait for some fried squash.

Guarding the pumpkins or just laying around?

Herb garden is taking off.

Looking back towards the shop from the greenhouse.

Corn is getting even taller!

It's sooooo green!

And taller.

It won't be long now!

The corn is really loving this soil!

Baby tomatoes in the greenhouse. (Where a little gray snake lived and scared the snot out of me every.single.time!)

Sweet peppers. Yummy!

Hot peppers. EEK!

Cute little squash.

The beets did amazing. We had so many, Abby is going to make some beet wine!

More Farmer's Market fun

So far the farmer's market is going well. We didn't sell anywhere near as many tomato plants as I would have liked, but we've met lots of new friends. We are now into veggie season with our carrots and beets selling out each week.

New Puppies

After a couple of not so great experiences with bears and rattlesnakes, we decided it was time to add some larger dogs to the farm. These two cuties are half blue heeler and half Great Pyrenees. They should be the perfect mix of buddy and protector. Right now they are just cuddlers! Since they are brother and sister, the kids wanted a good brother/sister duo set of names. They decided on Odin's ravens - Hugin and Munin. My vote was for Hansel and Gretal, but I lost. We may have lost our minds with adding not one, but two puppies to our crew!
