Around the house in Nov

A hat I made for Matt.

And another I made for Tiff.

Perry cooking our first breakfast on the new propane stove.

New pjs from Carolyn.

The furnace is keeping everything so nice and warm inside!

EC having her tooth extracted. She was so funny and talkative on that happy gas. I have never seen her that way before. She was a hoot.

Proud of loosing her first tooth. She doesn't realize it's about to start hurting.

Our first little snowfall. Hopefully there will be more of it when we wake in the morning.

Thanksgiving

I can't believe I didn't get more pictures of our Thanksgiving feast this year. I always get a group picture and it just completely slipped my mind. At least I got a couple of food pictures. We had a good crowd especially to have just moved. Perry, Me, Abby, Emily, Ella Claire, Benjamin, Granny T, Jim, Pop, Nonna, Rodney Green, Paul, Jonnie, Cameron, Paisley, Danica and Kalette. Next year I'll do better.

Our new propane stove and some goodies cooking.

Our table of yumminess. We had brisket and a deer leg for meat. Deviled eggs, Turnip greens, rolls, mashed potatoes, potato salad, green beans, squash casserole, cornbread dressing, cranberry (from a can of course) and desserts galore.

Farm updates

This time we are tryin out a chicken tractor.

It's a little heavy, but sturdy for sure.

Greenhouse frame is here. We traveled 3 hours there and back to pick this baby up. They sell all around the US and thankfully they were only 3 hours from us. Can't wait to get it up and growing!

The makeshift wheels to get it down to the field. The next one Perry is going to go ahead and build it in the field instead of having to move it like this.

Thankfully Steve came up to visit and was able to help!

Goat house number one. The girl goat will be living here.

Greenhouse frame ready to stand up.

Compost bins started.

Stakes are in the ground.

Now all we need is some plastic. It looks so good!!

Helen, GA Oktoberfest

Helen, GA for Oktoberfest!

This was EC and BB's first roller coaster. They are sold!! EC rode with Marnay, BB rode with me and Emily got to ride by herself. It was a good little short ride and they all loved it.

Cutie!

Fits just right!

One must have a beer and pretzel at Oktoberfest.

Cool windmill on our way out. It wasn't exactly like we expected. Most of the shops had foreign owners with cheaply made, non authentic items. I'm glad we went, but I don't think we'll be going back any time soon. There was nothing there that actually came from Germany. The architecture was amazing and I'm glad we got to see it.
