Around the house in May

Eek, another driver in the house. She's a natural!

Benajmin and his machine. He requested a machine last time I went on a shopping. This was all I could find. Thankfully he thought it was awesome. He and Dada put it together, together.

Off on another adventure up the mountain, in the rain no less. The dogs have been the best! They are game for whatever adventure you want to have. And they love the whole family, but especially the littles.

It's time to get the sprinkler out again!!

Total fun kid-dum happening here!

Deep South Herbal Conference

My girl teaching her wine class at the Deep South Herbal Conference.
Abby, The Highland Herbalist and I took off to Alabama on Thursday and she taught Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It was the coolest thing ever to get to see her do her thing. She is a wealth of knowledge and has a knack for teaching the subjects she loves. We had a blast hanging out together for the long weekend and can't wait to do it again next year. We'll just grab her a lapel microphone for the next one.

Cheaha State Park was beautiful as always. It's always fun to hike around while there.

Around the farm

The pond wasn't filling up properly, so Perry and the girls dug this massive trench to put a new pipe in.

Thankfully it works and the pond is back up to normal levels.

Look at my tomato plants go!

One of Abby's projects. She created a weather station and Perry built the housing for it.

I'm sooooo excited about these beauties. They are so yummy!

Corn
Tomatoes
Squash
Tomatoes
Cucumbers
Black Raspberries... a new fav for sure! They grow wild here.
Onions in the greenhouse.
Weird squash since all of ours mixed with each other last year.
Peppers
Early snow peas
Swiss chard
Beets
Cranberry butterbeans

First year for sweet potatoes.
Everything is coming up nicely and it's making the place so beautiful again. I just love spring.

'Bout time they had a bath. Now they smell nice again!
