Around the house in March

He is determined to play the pipes one day. I love that he is so interested in them already.

Playing on the porch with their kitchen is an all time favorite, especially if it is raining,

Rodney let Emily borrow an old cookbook. She decided to make this pie from it. It was delicious!

Ugh! This beauty was stolen from our property the night before EC's birthday party. It's a heavy little booger, so it took a minimum of two men to carry it off. It's a glider and it just so happens that our neighbor had two broken fingers the next day. I'm still in shock it is gone. It wasn't a family heirloom or anything, but it was our's dang it. No one comes down our road and it wouldn't have been easy to see from the road. Makes me so mad. I posted it to Facebook and nice people really wanted to help. I'm very thankful for those good people out there. We have still yet to see the glider.

Cutie with her new headphones ready to do some school lessons on her computer.

Mu Mu girl. This is her preferred spot and if we would let her, I think she would sleep right there at Perry\s feet every night!

This girl loves to paint.

These two are best buds. I can't wait to see all the adventures they have in the future together.

Golden Boy

Benjamin Perry Jr and IV
Papaw brought a special surprise for Benjamin when they came up for EC's b'day party. It has some gold plating around the stock so Ben Ben called it golden boy. The girls didn't get .22's until they were 7, but since he's a boy I guess he needed one sooner. He was competely surprised and thrilled. He can't wait to get his finger on that trigger!

Learning all about it!

EC turns 7

Spunky, beautiful and smart as ever, another year in the books for Miss Ella Claire. Ella Claire likes all things girlie, unicorns, flowers, barbies, legos, crafting, being outside, puppies, shopping, gardening and just hanging out with the family. Happy birthday our sweet EC!

The big girls both got their first .22 rifles at the age of 7, so of course someone was expecting to see one with her name on it. She was thrilled to have one of her own and join the big girl club.

Abby knitted EC the cutest little dolls. She made the three sisters and a goat, udders and all.

It's party day! It was a beautiful day to be outside. We all had a great time celebrating EC.

This year's theme was garden tea party.

Abby's caterpillars under the amanita mushrooms.

Pecan crack.
Strawberry lemon bars left over from celebrating Nonna's birthday.

Birthday buddies!

Kalette, Zoey, Rory, Paisley, EC, Benjamin (poor thing with a bunch of girls, although he didn't mind since one of those girls was Annelise), Annelise and Danika

The birthday princess!

Hay Barn

Perry had to get the rope and tractor to bring this pine all the way down.

Perfect landing right down the trail.

The pevey works wonders on moving these massive logs. I can even roll them around with that thing.

Posts and roof! Of course the kids wanted to see the view from the top!
