This year we added a new Highland Games to our list. The Great Smoky Mountain Highland Games used to be in Gatlinburg, but they moved it to Maryville when they heard we were bringing all these new people! I'm not sure what the true story is, so I'm sticking to this one. These games are held the 2nd weekend of May each year which works out just perfectly for us since Fiddler's Green and Hays Decoration is always the first weekend. We decided since the weather was just so wonderful, that we would camp for the weekend. It only rained on us a little so I'd say it was a successful trip!

Even though it is a small game, we really enjoyed the experience. The weather was great and the time of year is nice as well. I think we will make this a regular event as well!
