'Twas the Season

Can you believe it???? Christmas has come and gone again ALREADY. (Part of me is sad and wishes it was still here, but the other part says Phew.....not again for a whole nother year!!!) How does it do this every time though??? It's like it takes forever for Christmas to get here then BAM it's over before you know it. Oh well...over the next few posts I am am going to share a peak of the MANY Christmas parties we went to this year. We had to be in 6 different places this year and it starts to wear on one very quickly. I have to keep reminding myself (and others!!) that it's only this one time of year that we go through all the hoopla. We don't run around like this on any other holiday, so.....just grin and bear it!

First up is our traditional Saturday before Christmas at Granny T's. This party to me always means that the season is really here. We eat, read the true Christmas story, sing Happy Birthday to Jesus, open presents, play games and this year had some pretty spirited debates. All in all it is a great time and gets the party going kicked off!!

All the kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. At this party I am a grandkid, so my girls are the great-grandkids running around.  I took this picture with my new camera. It was a lot of fun figuring out how the timer works and running from the camera to get to my spot without looking too tired!!

Then the best part of the evening!! THE FASHION SHOW!! Granny T got all 3 of the girls new dress up stuff. They of course had to put it all on right then and have a fashion show for everyone!! Too cute. Here are a couple of shots of the grand event!
