I don't know how I ever set up a party before these two could help. I'm so happy they decided to take a selfie before the party started. They make life so much better!
This year we decided to have a combo birthday party since it was so cold in December last year. Plus it's Passover weekend so we were able to have a good number of people celebrate with us all weekend long. We didn't really have a theme, but we celebrated these two turning 6 and 8!
8 years old!
Birthday buddies.
6 years old!
Goodie bags Ella Claire and Benjamin made for all the kiddos that came to the party.
Noona, Kris, Rodney and Donna chatting before the party begins.
What a great group of kiddos! Benjamin and Zeke in front of Gabe and Jaxon. The green girls back to front Paisley, Danika, Kalette. Ella Claire and Keira.
I noticed Ella Claire didn't seem right. She never wears a hood and when she's around her friends she is always smiling. Right after we sang happy birthday she made her way to the outhouse. I decided to follow her. Thankfully I did because she got sick. Poor baby didn't feel good the rest of the day. She threw up, napped and sat in my lap for most of the afternoon. Which is so not like her. Bless her little heart. She was not happy that she was sick for her birthday party.
She tried to enjoy herself some.
Benjamin on the other hand felt great and had the best time.
BFFs and matching cups!
Pop photobombed!
The Green girls knew it was April Fool's Day and decided to make an April Fool's present before their real present. They gave both EC and BB an empty box and a note that said this is your present (April Fool's). All the kids thought it was hilarious.
The real present from the Green girls. Baby chicks and baby Guinea birds. They were thrilled to have their own farm animals. The Green girls give the best gifts.
After a nap she felt a little better.
These little hanging chairs Kris gave them are so cool.
We played lots of frisbee.
Keith played and sang for us.
Emily is excited to have more birds too.
Hansel in the middle of everything.
