Abby was asked to teach again at Darryl's conference! This year they are trying it out in Mentone. I didn't care for it as much. Cheaha was just such a cool place to stay. Oh well, it was still fun!
The Highland Herbalist at the Deep South Herbal Conference.
This year they let everyone set up a booth to sell all their goodies. We did pretty well with my baked goods and Abby's herbal products. It paid for our trip, so that's nice!
We camped with D for the night. She stayed in her van and Abby and I slept in the Suburban.
Road by to see the old house. Look at that garage they added on!
And we stopped to visit with Papaw, D and Mamaleta since we were so close.
Lunch was great as usual!
Looked through old pictures at Mamaleta's house. This is a picture of Julia Hays, Papa Perry's grandmother.
This is Mamaleta's mom (Vernie) when she was a young adult. Dancing away.
We stopped to visit Carolyn as well and she sent us home with a quilt for Emily made by Big Granny (Myrtle), Carolyn and Nonna's mother.
The very next weekend after the conference, Abby had a homestead herb walk for a lady and her friends at the lady's home. This was one of many on her schedule. Our herbalist is getting very busy.
