Abby has been wanting to study and possibly become an Herbalist. We found a guy that teaches a foraging style herb class in Mentone. I gave him a call and he invited us up to join an essential oil class he was having. Perry, Abby and I went and loved it. It's exactly the environment and style she's looking for. She officially starts the level 1 herbalist class next month and he let her do it for half price. She's been saving her money for the class but now she has an extra $900. I think she's really going to love it.
Darryl, the herb teacher, came over to our house and did a woods walk with us. He pointed out all kinds of herbs and plants and mushrooms. We have a plethora of good medicinal plants behind our house. We as a whole family of 6 have enjoyed venturing through the woods identifying all the different things growing and what they are good for.
