Halloween 2016

Halloween 2016 was a great one for the books. The girls carved pumpkins, dressed up for Treats on Main and gave out candy at Carolyn's. This year we had two scarecrows and a black cat. 

Cheaha State Park

On our way home from the SMHG we decided to take a detour and hike around Cheaha State Park. Well, I may have waddled around the park instead of hiked! This was EC's first trip down the board walk and she had a blast. We have taken each one of them at a very young age to the highest point in the state of Alabama. So far we have three outdoorsy kinda girls! I guess we'll be back soon with Benjamin too! The fall leaves this trip were the best!

SMHG 2016

SMHG 2016 was a great one! The weather was perfect and we had a wonderful time.

House 2016

Since we finally moved into the addition and EC will eventually have to move in with Emily, we made a few updates to everyone's rooms. The E room is a gray, rose pink and mint green. The twin beds are Papaw's bunk beds from his childhood room. Emily is not so sure about having to share her room with her little sister, but EC is thrilled about her big girl bed. It will be a while before they actually have to share, but it was nice to get started on the new décor.

Abby's room looks like a magazine photo shoot. I love what we did with it. The blues and greens are so bright and welcoming. I think she likes it too!

EC is 18 months

This little animal cracker eatin' bundle of pure energy is a whole 18 months old. She loves life, the outdoors and her shirt says it all! I can't imagine our crazy lives without her.
