Classical Conversations

It's Back to School season! This year we decided to try something new to us with the homeschool group and curriculum Classical Conversations. It's been around for a long time, but we've never tried it. Since there is no other co-op or homeschool group in our area, we decided to give it a go. After meeting with the other families for an orientation park night, I think we're gonna fit right in. It'll be great for the littles to be around some others their ages. Emily is going to go with me every Tuesday to help wrangle. Here's to the 2021-2022 school year! It's weird not having Abby there with us.

K-4

His little hair is growing so long. I'm the only one that's not a fan. Either way he looks so big and is a cutie!

1st grade

She's so stinkin' cute and ready to learn. She's so excited to be in 1st grade, whatever that means. LOL

Look, sometimes they are sweet to each other!

Sophomore
I can't believe she's in her second year of high school already. It won't be long before her senior portrait is on the wall too.

Abby wouldn't let me take her picture since she's not in "school" anymore. She is very excited to get a few hours to herself every Tuesday. She is still learning and taking classes with Darryl so she's still in school right!?! Oh well. I guess they let go at some time right.

Too cool with Dada's sunglasses.

Waling in together so sweetly. They were both a little nervous about seeing these new people again and trying something new. It was a great day and they both did an awesome job. We were all pooped and took a great nap when we got home!

Each week they have to do a presentation for class. Right now it's more like show and tell, but as they get older they will have to teach the class something each week with their presentations. EC took her Scottish purse and told everyone a little bit about her Scottish background. She did a fantastic job and wasn't shy at all.

Art skills.

OILS
She listened very well and her drawing turned out perfect.

Benjamin doing one of his presentations. He told his class about bagpipes!
