Around the house in May

Aw, it's finally sprinkler season once more!

Abby cashed in all of her bonds and they paid for her next year of herb class!

Scully likes to do yoga too.

NOC Treehouse

Every time we visited the NOC, this treehouse was closed and the littles were always so bummed. We finally caught it open, and they had an absolute blast. They both still hold on for dear life, but think it's so cool being so high up in the air. They ask to go back all.the.time now!

 

Wayah Bald

We decided to take a break from the farm for a day and venture out to Wayah Bald. We've never been out here before even though it's pretty close. It was worth the drive! The view was spectacular.

Farm life - Hay style

Our little bunny friend jumped right into EC's hands. It was the sweetest little thing. Too bad it only lasted for a day.

Benjamin was the first to see it and went right in to catch it. No fear.

When there are goats to feed, there is hay to be baled.  

Perry built this baler so that we can use it without any electricity or gas. 

It works really, really well too.

While the big girls were baling, the littles found a new friend. After the unsuccessful attempt to bring the bunny in as a pet, we made the wise decision to visit with our new tortoise friend here and then let him return to his own home.

Look at all that wonderful food for the goats! We got a total of 26 bales.

 

New big kid beds!

Aunt Carolyn found out the littles were getting new big kid beds, so she sent this drawing the mail to share in the excitement! Three little monkeys jumping on the bed...
