So we've done it yet again. This will be the 3rd dog we've had this year and I hope we have better luck with her. I couldn't resist that sweet little face on the Blount County Animal Shelter's facebook page. She is half rat terrier and half red heeler and cute as a bug! Someone dropped off a whole litter of puppies at the shelter so she's only about 8 weeks old. I knew I wanted this one from the pictures so Emily, EC, BB and I made a beeline on Halloween to the shelter the next morning. Sure enough we pulled up to the gate and a line formed behind us. They were all there for puppies too. We were the first in so we got our pick!! We knew Miss Dana Scully Hays - "Scully" was ours!

She had to be the first to hold her!
Then BB got his turn!
And the holding continued.
She was so tiny and slept a lot!
Maybe the bed is too big?
She and BB are becoming fast friends.

Still sleeping and starting to grow into her bed.
She's growing so fast they won't all be able to fit much longer.
