Around the house in March

I did a little thing this month. Happy St Patty's Day to me.

The weather was too nice not to enjoy a south Florida watermelon. Benjamin and EC soaking up some good vitamin D!

EC designed and built her own zipline and of course had to test it out. She even found the perfect stick to use as the handlebar. She was super excited to glide across the creek.

Farm Life

The goats are producing! We let the babies drink solely for two weeks and then we started sharing with them. We put the babies in the back pin at night with the males then we milk in the morning and let the babies out with the mamas for the rest of the day. So far so good. After eight weeks we will wean the babies and milk the mamas twice a day.

 

EC turns 6!

My how time flies! This chick turned six with homemade waffles for breakfast, steak and fries for dinner, all kinds of goodies from her sisters and brother and an awesome woodland party. Miss Ella Claire keeps us smiling and laughing all year round. We're so glad she joined our crew 6 years ago! Happy Birthday EC!

She was so excited to be like the big girls with her new knife. They each got their first swiss army knives at 6 so of course we continued the tradition!
