Around the house in June

Abby's skills in crocheting and knitting are growing. Our friend Tiff was so impressed with the blanket Abby made she requested that she make the fruit from the Hungry, Hungry Caterpillar. Abby made several pieces of fruit, a basket and a fox for Ronan.

Abby Hill was a HUGE help in keeping the littles this summer and last on the weekends during outfitter season. We could not have done it without her. Not only did she help us out, but the kids loved seeing her! She and Benjamin really bonded. I snuck in one day and found this scene. Sweet kiddos.

Rollin' in the Hay at BCCO! Our second concert was a huge hit. We have always loved their music. I made a request for them to sing 420. Not only did the gladly add it to the list, but the dedicated to Perry right in the middle of the show. If people didn't know before, they sure know now. lol

EC loves the concerts. Her friends always come to camp and hang out with her.

One of her favorite parts of the evening....glow lights!!! Even better, glow light earrings. Thanks to some of our awesome repeat campers and friends Foster and Nathan for sharing these with her. She and their daughter Leslie Ann are the same age and have hit it off!

Concerts here have been a wonderful addition. I love to see all the kids running around. It's such a safe, family friendly environment that my children greatly enjoy as well. I feel so good about just letting them run around freely. Everyone is watching all the kids and treating them as if they are their own. I hope we have many more of these style evenings.

 

Emily turns 14!

Another birthday spent working at the outfitter. At least this year we have several guys working and Emily isn't having to move too many boats. Waffles and her favorite mug for breakfast before a long day. Happy birthday to our hard working, smart, sassy, helpful princess!!!

Family kayaking trip

It's time for the Hays family to hit the creek again. We can't just let everyone else have all the fun.

These two think they are pros now with their own paddles.

And....flip. She leaned a little too far and went right on over. Oops. It was Scully's fault right?

Our new favorite spot to stop and play. It's shallow and has a nice little rapid area to inner tube down or even body surf. They all like moving rocks around and making it an even cooler spot.
