Abby's making bread! Anna gave us some sourdough starter and we're trading bags of freshly ground flour for kayaking trips. Yummy!

 

Artists

The girls and I decided to take a sips and strokes type class in Onetona, this time with coffee. We painted pumpkins and had a blast. Even EC got to join in. A new friend, Jana, we met at the outfitter joined us as well. It was a fun outing.

The class inspired Emily to do even more painting at home. Of course the little ones wanted to join in as well. She got them set up and taught them a few things about art.

 

New School Year

It's that time again! This year Ella Claire is joining us for the full day. She's gonna love it. This is our 2nd year with Scope and so far everyone likes it. The big girls are getting some good core classes as well as fun ones, I am teaching and EC is getting some basics with play time. Benjamin and Granny T are getting some good bonding time in as well.

Outfitter

It's the big night! Our first official concert at BCCO. Tonight we had the Steel City Jug Slammers and they were great. They are an old fashion jug band with songs, stories and good times. It wasn't a sold out show, but it was a good first experience. We had a full camp ground and kids were running around everywhere. It was a fantastic evening!!!

EC and I enjoyed the tandem again.

Ben Ben's first kayaking trip. He wanted to ride with Pop but I wasn't sure he would sit in the front of a tandem. We made the right choice. He would not have understood that he had to stay seated. He did an awesome job riding with Pop and loved every minute of it. I'm so glad we have another one that loves to be on the water and kayaking. He's the youngest we've taken one of our children and I'm so glad he wasn't scared. All 4 of them love it!

He loved the kayaking and getting to ride on the 4 wheeler back to the office.
