Hay Barn

Perry had to get the rope and tractor to bring this pine all the way down.

Perfect landing right down the trail.

The pevey works wonders on moving these massive logs. I can even roll them around with that thing.

Posts and roof! Of course the kids wanted to see the view from the top!

Farm

New chickens arriving on the farm.

Hopefully we'll finally have some eggs!

This baby will be our new spring water tank that will feed into the house if something ever happens that we can't use the well. It's nearly 300 gallons I think.

Getting a good start on the wood drying barn. It's right across from the sawmill.

New fence to create another area for the goats to forage in!

These pups love some goat milk!

Cutie Patootie!

Daredevils.

All I said was sit, stay and do you want a treat!

Showing off his new boots.

Baby chicks are growing super fast.

T posts going up for the new goat fence.

Seedling starting time is here! Tomatoes, peppers, cabbage, herbs....yum!

Abby's wine class

As part of Abby's herbal studies, each student has to teach a class before they get their certificate. Abby taught on how to make wine and how they can be medicinal. It was a hit. So much so, Darryl asked her to teach at his conference in May. I didn't get to go to this class, but the reviews from her classmates and from Perry were fantastic. To be such a quiet gal, she really came out of her shell. She's an amazing teacher and really knows her stuff!

Around the house in January

EC and me in the back of the car on a trip to the Readiness Store in Waynesville.

This is what happens when I leave my phone unattended! LOL

At least she takes pictures of her brother too. Not even sure how she figured how to make it in black and white. Smart, silly girl!

Birthday card and goodies from Mamaleta!

Baby chicks a little early this year. They're so cute though. And a bit stinky!

More silliness around the house. These two crack me up. They are either the best of friends or needing a break from each other. Mostly the best of friends though. Oh how I love them so!
