Snow 3

My gosh! Again only been two weeks since the last snow. This time it was much warmer out thankfully and I had my new snow bibbers! Another beautiful snow on the homestead.

 

Abby turns 19

Last year as a teenager. Wow. It went so fast. Abby needed a picture to go with her bio for her spot on the Deep South Herbal Conference website. We decided to hop outside while it was snowing to snag these babies. I'm glad we got this awesome one, but I love the goofy ones even more! Happy birthday Abby, Marnay, The Highland Herbalist!

 

Snow 2

My goodness it's only been two weeks since the last snow. It was pretty, but much colder this time so it made it a little harder to enjoy. Of course, we had to go out for at least a few minutes though!

They originally called for the snow to come a day or two earlier and we would have had to miss bread class. It all worked out beautifully though. We went to bread class and made it home in time to see the snow the next day. They were calling for a major winter storm. Thankfully we didn't catch the brunt of it.

The dogs don't seem to mind the chill. MuMu is so pretty.

 

Bread Class

We gathered some ladies and took them to (for us another) bread class. It has made such an impact on our lives that I wanted everyone to go, enjoy the experience and hop on board.

Amber went too, but she was in line buying her goodies when we took the first picture.

 

Pumpkin puree

We grew a TON of pumpkins this year! Emily took these beauties and turned them into puree and then into pies, cookies and other goodies! I made this batch and added the puree to my smoothies. Wonderful way to get some vitamin A!

 

 

Snow

First snow of the year and we had a blast playing in it. It was only a couple of inches, but it sure does make everything look pretty.

The first snow for Hugin and Munin. They loved it!

Yum!

Munin liked the idea of helping to make the snow angels. Silly pups.

And of course, a snowman must be made.

It was fun and all but, Hoogie was glad to be back inside where it's warm.
