Family photos with Ashley

We only have a couple of weeks left here in Alabama so I asked Ashley if she'd be willing to come snap a few pictures of us as a last little memory. Of course she said yes and made room in her busy schedule. I am so very thankful that she did. These are some wonderful pictures of our wonderful home we've spent the last 12 years in and the outfitter we got coming from the ground up. I just love how they turned out. Hopefully we will get them up to visit the new place soon.

Ashley was also able to sneak in some senior portraits for Abby. Oh my gosh, yes senior portraits! She will be a senior this fall and will graduate next spring. It has gone by super fast.

The week before we traveled to Ashley's studio to take some drape pictures in preparation for Abby's senior year as well. They couldn't have turned out any better. Love these!!

 

Garden goodies

We've always loved fried squash around here, but this year we took it to a whole other level. We cut it up and threw it straight in the deep fryer. Best thing out of the garden right now. So yummy!!

Final trip down the creek - Staff kayaking trip

As of now we officially have a contract on our house and outfitter and it looks like we will be headed to North Carolina very soon. While we had the crew together we decided to take one last BCCO staff paddle down the creek. Pop dropped us off at the creek. We had the whole crew go! From left to right: Pop, Zach, Ben, Abby, Scully, Abby Hill, Me, Emily, Perry, Ella Claire and Benjamin. We had a great time splashing around and enjoying the creek we've all helped others to do. 

I don't think she could get any cuter. She was modeling how to wear your PFD correctly and getting ready for her trip down the creek.
