After last years disappointing show of ice....these two were very happy to get the real thing this year. Even the schools and businesses didn't believe we would get as much snow as we did. In fact, many people ended up spending the night at work, school and so one the side of the road. It all happened so fast! Snow flakes started falling, then the temperature dropped. People were stuck! Thankfully I have a 4-wheel drive and we don't live on any type of hill. We were able to spend quite a few days comfortably at home just hanging out and playing in the snow!

I just love our "camp" sign entering the woods.
And now its time for some fun. our neighbor has the best hill around for some sledding. Heck I think he even provided the sled. This is what snow days are all about!

Great snow days with the family. Thankfully we were able to go play in the snow and come back in to get warm. No power was lost and we enjoyed every minute of being home!
